John Cusack

I love John Cusack. He is so handsome! I watched Say Anything a few weeks ago, which was an awesome 80's teen romantic movie, and it made me quite lonely. Now, I'm watching America's Sweethearts on the tube and it is so cute! Very sweet! Hehehe, and John Cusack makes it A BILLION TIMES BETTER! Dan looks like John Cusack. I actually call him John every time I pass him in the hallway.

Today I was coming out of the Middleboro Y because I picked up an application. I was so flipping tired that I walked into the glass door because I thought it was already open, but as it turns out it was...glass. Some people heard the thud, jumped out of their seats, and said "Are you okay?" I was a little dazed, and I kind of just said, "Yup, I'm fine." I wish I saw the little birdies flying around me like they do in cartoons, but that didn't happen. I wanted to turn around and say to the people at the desk, "That's how you know you have really clean doors," but I did not think of that until later. Anywho, when stupid stuff like that happens, I usually don't care. But when I got back into the car I started crying hysterically. I guess I realized that I AM A FAILURE! I really can't do anything right! I mess up so often at work that sometimes I think about pretending to be a foriegner who doesn't understand the English language whatsoever. That would at least give me an excuse for being stupid. My mom was laughing at me, and it wasn't cool! I started laughing too, but then I started crying again because she said that she could hear the noise my crash made all the way from the car, which was about a hundred or so feet away. I felt so humiliated, but it's all good now. Good for a laugh I suppose. Just like the rest of my life. HAHAHA! Yea...

Aw, Katie. I'm sorry that you did that and I'm sorry that you were sad afterwards. But you still managed to laugh a bit, so that's good!

And remember- everyone does embarrising things. 2 weeks ago I fell up the stairs at school. Sorta. I banged my knee and it was swollen for a few days. It wasn't a humiliating falling-down-a-flight-of-stairs thing though, luckily. I just stumbled.

And last year I fell flat on my ass in the middle of the hall just before Passing Time ended. Now that? THAT was quite embarrising.

And in December (on my birthday) my geometry teacher passed out this worksheet, and I was looking in my book to see how to do it adn then she yelled at me. APPARENTLY, it was a test. I almost cried after that. Because it was my birthday, ya know?

Oh I should start by saying I love your journal ma'am!

Now, embarrassing moments...ah, yes...

You're not alone, sister!

Wednesday in Spanish class I thought I heard Mrs. Shadley call me up to check off my homework, but really she was just taking attendance. So there I was, in the middle of the room, rummaging through my notebook to find my homework when I looked up to see everyone looking at me. And I said, "You're not checking homework now, are you?..." and Mrs. Shadley said "No." and I said "I'm going to sit back down now..." and everyone laughed. I tried to make it funny but inside, oh inside sister it burned, it burned like the fires of Hades.

I'll second Caragh and say VIVA LA EMBARRASSING MOMENTS! I think that's what she said anyway.

Haha! You guys are so awesome! Thanks for making me feel better about smacking into the glass door at the YMCA! Embarassing moments, while embarassing, are fun to look back on!

Embarassing moments...well, back in the day when I was in the Williams Middle School Jazz band, I accidently made a microphone fall off the stage during rehersal...then later on that day at the concert for the wee fourth graders, Mr.Smith told the kids to, 'be careful of the wire, because earlier dear Darcy tripped over it and the mic almost broke.' But seeing as they were only fourth graders, I didn't care much, so I just waved at them...I was a lot more secure with myself back them, I guess. Viva La embarassing moments! Because they help build character.

Katie, you are not a failure, and your life is not a joke. Don't you ever say that again or I'll have to wip out the kung fu.

Hey, if you want to see little birds flying around you, take some morphine.
