Hmmm
The summer thus far has been fullfilling and promising! Graduation, though extremely hot, was wonderful(ly short). Our pool is opened, I've been to the beach twice, and I've been working enough to keep my parents happy, though not nearly as much as I know I should be. Amidst the graduation parties, movies, and friends, I also lost my Red Sox virginity! Yes, I finally attended my first Red Sox game and it was so much fun! Though it painfully aumented my desire to attend college in Boston, I had an INCREDIBLE time. I went with my uncle Jimmy (whom we affectionately like to call "Jimbo"), and he continues to be the coolest man alive! I ate two Fenway Franks and he bought me a Red Sox cap too, which was so nice of him. I fell asleep with it on last night! The Red Sox won, too, so it was a grand ol' time! I missed my train though because we were waiting for the Subway for a while. It was all good though, because another one left ten minutes later and I got off in Abington.
I also went to the Relay for Life for quite some time, which was quite incredible. It was such an inspiring, emotional, and hopeful event. Speaking of events such as the Relay, my swim for Against the Tide is on Saturday. I actually don't think I'll be able to participate in the swim because my uncle is having a burial service for my cousin that day, which of course is of higher priority. I'm still going to go and set up, and hand in the money I've collected. Thank you to everyone who donated; your generosity is very much appreciated on behalf of my family and I.
I must go do my pilates now, but I leave you with this cool picture I took a while back. Enjoy!
