I'm not quite sure how to start off this post. So I will commence with the fact that I do not know how to write the introduction to yet another fabulously interesting entry on Katie's blog.

Anywho. Junior prom was a blast. All of the confusion and pandemonium leading up to it were totally worth it, in my humble opinion. John danced a lot more than I thought he would, which was pleasantly surprising. Everyone looked beautiful and I'm so happy that it worked out. After prom, the limo, consisting of John, Darcy, Steve, Lauren, Matt, Natalia, Brian, and myself, went to Wendy's. When we discovered we couldn't use the loo there, we decided to pull on in to none other than the infamous Wal-Mart. Darcy and I took a picture in front of this sign that said "Always Low Prices," which I didn't realize, until Ben M. pointed it out to me in class one day, that it makes us look, to put it properly, somewhat cheap. But it's all in good fun, and it's a grand picture! After our adventures in Wal-Mart, we proceeded back to my house where we met up with Becca, Kate, Brianne, and their dates Tim and Chris. We watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and played with balloons and whatnot. It was a good ol' straightedge time! Darcy and Becca spent the night, and we woke up quite early the next day and went to brekky. I love prom-I can't wait for next year! Oh, and I'll be posting pictures of it sometime in the near future, hopefully!

I went to the State Archives in Boston today with my English class, as well as the AP history class. It was pretty interesting. We went to Faneuil Hall following our examination of ridiculously old documents(some of them were worth $40 million!! I was almost tempted to rip one of them because sometimes I get crazy ideas in my head; my family would hate me forever!), and Tenley, Becca, and I got food and went into some stores. Then we stole the back seats of the bus because we were the first ones back. Go us!

My mom is in New Jersey for the weekend. I'm such a mama's girl, because I always miss her when she goes away, even though it's only for a few days. My cat has developed an extremely odd "meow." I've concluded that she does it to gain my dog's attention, and perhaps his attraction!! She's a crazy one. I bought Benny and Joon, and I'm very excited to watch it; tis a qualityish movie. I must go loo it up now, ta-ta!
