Fajitas

These past two days have been pretty good...kind of inspiring. It surprises me how one day you can feel like crap, but the next life just seems to get a little better. You just feel a wee bit refreshed Maybe something happens to you in your sleep, subconsciously. *Ponders*

Last night, Darcy and I went over to Miss Becca's. It was a fantabulous time. We ate chili, and it was absolutley scrumptious. (I feel like Mary Poppins when I say the word "scrumptious.") Today, my history group came over to work on our 1990's project. We didn't really get anything done, but whatever. I'm through with school. THEN, I walked to Darcy's house and Senora Slicky Sly fed me! Eheheh, I ate three fajitas. They were so delicious. See, its a thing at their house now! EVERY time I've gone over there for quite awhile now. They are turning into Mexicans, and its awesome. Hahah, while I was enjoying my fajita, I picked up the megaphone and yelled "FAJITA" into it....only I pronounced the "J" and made the "I" long, so it sounded like something else. Darcy's dad just kind of looked down and everyone else was cracking up...I feel bad, I think I embarassed the man! Hahha, it was funny anyway. But I really didn't mean for it to sound like a woman's reproductive organ, I really didn't! It didn't sound like that when I said it in my head, but I guess it sounds differently when you say it aloud. Hhahha, when you pronounce "FAJITA" like "FAJYTA" it sounds like you are saying "Vagina" when you have a cold. HAHAHAHA!

John Cusack

I love John Cusack. He is so handsome! I watched Say Anything a few weeks ago, which was an awesome 80's teen romantic movie, and it made me quite lonely. Now, I'm watching America's Sweethearts on the tube and it is so cute! Very sweet! Hehehe, and John Cusack makes it A BILLION TIMES BETTER! Dan looks like John Cusack. I actually call him John every time I pass him in the hallway.

Today I was coming out of the Middleboro Y because I picked up an application. I was so flipping tired that I walked into the glass door because I thought it was already open, but as it turns out it was...glass. Some people heard the thud, jumped out of their seats, and said "Are you okay?" I was a little dazed, and I kind of just said, "Yup, I'm fine." I wish I saw the little birdies flying around me like they do in cartoons, but that didn't happen. I wanted to turn around and say to the people at the desk, "That's how you know you have really clean doors," but I did not think of that until later. Anywho, when stupid stuff like that happens, I usually don't care. But when I got back into the car I started crying hysterically. I guess I realized that I AM A FAILURE! I really can't do anything right! I mess up so often at work that sometimes I think about pretending to be a foriegner who doesn't understand the English language whatsoever. That would at least give me an excuse for being stupid. My mom was laughing at me, and it wasn't cool! I started laughing too, but then I started crying again because she said that she could hear the noise my crash made all the way from the car, which was about a hundred or so feet away. I felt so humiliated, but it's all good now. Good for a laugh I suppose. Just like the rest of my life. HAHAHA! Yea...

CHICKENS!

Hehhehehe! The chickies are here!! They are so cute and little! They are really loud too! All I can hear is PEEP PEEP PEEP! from the kitchen!! All I have to say is that...THE CHICKEN LADY HAS RETURNED! *DUN DUN DUN DUN*

Clocks

You know that trippy clock I mentioned yesterday, kids? Well, I've got a humorous story to tell about it. At least I find it funny. Maybe you will too.

Well, a few weeks ago, I asked Mr. C if I could have his old clock because he had gotten a new one. He said that he would ask the person who brought it in if they still wanted it and if they didn't then I could have it. Several days later, he gave the trippy clock to me, which absolutley made my day. In fact, I loved it so much that I carried it around with me for the rest of the day. I even brought it to lunch with me. Now, on that particular day I had Spanish long period. As I walked into the classroom after lunch, Lauren's boyfriend,Dave, asked "Why do you have a clock?" I stopped dead in my tracks, not really sure what to say. I mean, how many people ask you that? But then again, how many people carry a clock around? After standing there glaring at Dave for a few minutes, I said, "BECAUSE YOU TOUCH YOURSELF AT NIGHT!" and then ran to my seat. Ahh, it's funny how people rub off on you. Anywho, after leaving many of my classmates in awe, I went back to my work as if nothing had happened. The End.

I hope you enjoyed that. Hahah, I know Dave didn't. Teehehehe. Well, today we are getting our chickens. Hooray! I love chickens. I wonder what I should name mine? If you guys have any suggestions, tell me!! I want it to be a groovey, spiffy, and original name because it's a chicken! Weeeee. You will all have to come over and see them soon. If you don't.....umm...I don't know what I will do. Until next time!

I'm going to leave you with some Mr. Rogers. This is my imitation of him:

*sits on a chair and crosses legs. Begins to untie one shoe. Speaks in a mockery of Mr. Rogers' voice*
Before we go, I'd like to talk about what we're gonna do tomorrow. It gives you a nice feeling when you know what to expect, now doesn't it? *Bursts into child's song*

Hiya, Kids!! I'm here at home right now while YOU ARE ALL AT SCHOOL! MWAHAHAH! Yea, mi madre decided to let me stay home because I need a break from school. I don't know why, but I do. Everyone does sometimes. The ironic thing about it is that I actually do feel kind of sick. But, as Darcy told me, perhaps it is just in my head.

Wondering. Its a wondrous thing. Are wondering and pondering the same thing? I wonder...hmm *ponders* Hehehe, I'm really bored. But it isn't a bad thing. But I do keep wondering/pondering about stuff. 'Tis a good time. Getting lost in your thoughts. Yesterday I was laying in my bed, and I was just staring at the clock Mr. C gave me for about an hour and a half. And it's a pretty trippy clock too, and I saw the minute hand move. Now, you might all be saying, "Yes, Katie, that is what the minute hand does." But it is still cool to see it because it isn't something you just observe every day. Sometimes getting lost in your thoughts is a scary thing though, too. It isn't really something you can explain. I guess you just begin to realize things that you don't want to admit are true.

A lot has happened between March 25th 2004, and now, exactly two months later. I bought a shirt two months ago tonight. It was a three-day weekend. Crazy picture day was two months ago tomorrow. It was a fun, yet sad, weekend. My mom took Darcy, Lindsey and I to Plymouth. Also within the last two months, I've gone out to ice-cream, seen people I love overcome obstacles of life, became a stronger person because of those people, got certified to be a lifeguard and we got a new puppy! Things have gotten better, things have gotten worse. With life, it's always up and down--rarely a happy medium. It's extreme, it's unfair, it's hard...but that's life. What's kept me going in addition to my friends is the realization that things could always be so much worse.

The Weather Channel

Just a few seconds ago, they were playing intense crazy classical music on the Weather Channel while they were giving the "Local Weather Forecast." The Weather Channel is probably one of my favorite channels on the telly. I get a kick out of watching Christina Abernathy and Mish Michaels on there, just talking non-stop about the weather. I think they like to hear themselves talk. Either that or they are getting paid good money. Hmm. My favorite is "Storm Week" when they talk about...you guessed it! STORMS!

I went to "work" this morning, if you can call getting paid to sit behind a desk doing your homework work, then yea, I went there. I came home, and tried to fall asleep but it seemed as if everyone was fearing my mom because she was kind of angry this morning. So they were all on the cleaning rampage. When she came home, she took me to this place to fill out an application for work this summer. Then she yelled at me on the way home. I don't even remember what it was about, and I really don't care to. We disagree on everything, and it seems pointless to even fight anymore. I usually end up just shutting up and staring out the window, trying to block her out.

Darcy called me later on today and Deirdre and I headed over there. Her mom made us quesadillas which were awesome. The past two or three times I've been over there, they have given me Mexican food. Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining. It's just funny how some things work out. Anywho, we went outside and made a campfire with her Kevin and her cousin and we made S'mores. It was very nice. And then.....we got cold and went inside, called Miss Cleo and had our Tarot done. Well, not really. We had Darcy do our Tarots, because she is cool like that.

Now, I'm home. HOME, HOME ON THE RANNNNNNGE! WHERE THE DEER AND THE ANTELOPE PLAAAAAAAY! Rarararara. MULLET!

Mean Trojans, Fish, and Dancing By Myself

How are you all on this lovely Friday evening? Today was the last day of MCAS. Hoorah! This week was pretty cool, because we didn't do anything in class at all. Next week is our last full week of school. Can you guys believe that? Last full week..summer is coming, and I think it is safe to say that we all need it.

Yesterday in Biology we did some more dissecting. We cut open a fish, which was awesome. However, I shall spare you the details. Last night, Miss Liz came over to work on our catapault for Latin, but my dad ended up doing most of it. I swear, he is really the next Tim Allen.

Today I went to see Troy with Darcy, Caragh, and Becca, only we didn't see Troy because we are not all seventeen yet. Grr. So then we bought tickets to Shrek 2, but ended up going to see Mean Girls. 'Twas confusing. It was actually a pretty good movie. A girl got hit by a bus, and I laughed. At the end of the movie, they played "Dancing By Myself" so I started dancing by myself in the aisle, and then my pals joined in the fun. I burped too..but that was at the beginning of the movie. It was a weird burp; a "vurp" as Caragh said her dad calls them. Hehe. Despues vamos al cine, we went back to my house and my mom made us pasta. Then we proceeded downstairs and watched "Family Guy" and it was funny. Just an all around stupendous evening...five stars...two thumbs up...weeeeee.

This thing doesn't indent every time I begin a new paragraph, which drives me absolutley nuts! Oh well, I'll get used to it. Today was fun! As I mentioned before in a previous post, we dissected sheep eyes in Biology which was SO COOL!! Mr. C let me keep the lens after begging him about it for the last week or so. We got to cut off all of the muscle of the eye and slice into the eyeball. It was so interesting. Maybe I will be a surgeon when I grow up. Haha, Katie with a knife...hmmmm....
We might be dissecting other stuff tomorrow..he said something about a squid maybe? I don't really remember.

I watched Benny and Joon today; 'twas adorable. I actually picked everything up that happend in it this time because the first time I saw it was preoccupied with other things. It is such a good movie. I am determined to make grilled cheese with an iron. Man, Johnny Depp is so flipping attractive. If he and Heath Ledger had kids...waiiiiit a second there...

Today was the first day of MCAS. Woo! Good times, everyone, GOOD TIMES! From MCAS, I went to Gym, which was cool because I won a can of Coke! HOORAY! I won the mini mini-golf tournament we had and so I got soda. Weee! Soda is so disgusting, but it's good at the same time. When I drink of it, I get two sensations: the feeling of my teeth rotting and the sweet taste of it. It is so flipping contradicting!!
I went to work after school, and didn't do much there. I stepped in dog poop on the way. It smelled pretty horrible. I really need to start to watch where I am going. Speaking of dog poop, my mom had to take Buddy to the vet today. She told us later on that as the veterinarians were examining his waste, she could hear them saying, "Wow, this is all covered in glitter! That certainly makes it interesting!" As it turns out, my puppy bit into some of Allison's glitter stuff. Hahahha. The craziness of my household. Never a dull moment.

Sorry about that post... I have nothing to complain about.

Sheep Eyes

For about the fourth time I've been back online, I am once again making an attempt at keeping a blog. I keep deleting them because, like many things recently, I get sick and resentful towards them. I'm going to try to control my anger and keep this one because the other journal I have is to painful to write in...yes, because it opens itself up and starts hitting and beating me up...ahem.
MCAS this week. I don't really care about it; it just makes me mad that the other classmen get to sleep in while we have to go take it. BUT...we get to dissect sheep eyes on Wednesday in Biology, which is the absolute highlight of my week as of right now! I'm so excited. We dissected loads of stuff in Human Physiology at PCC, and it is simply fascinating.
I keep dreaming, and this hope inside of me just won't die. No matter what I do I can't get rid of it, and all the while I know I am just setting myself up.
